Nectarines + Black Pepper + Lime Zest

I don’t know what came over me, I really don’t. All I know is that adding freshly-crushed black pepper and lime zest to a bunch of nectarines is delicious.

You’re hit with the sweetness from the nectarines first, followed by the slow build of a deep, peppery spice.
