Hello.jpg

Let me introduce myself.

I am an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, and knowledge mobilization specialist based in Guelph, Ontario. I collaborate with communities, researchers, organizations, businesses, and individuals to give visual form to information, ideas, and discussions using illustration and design. Grounded in evidence and emotion, the visual media I create serve to communicate, share, and mobilize knowledge about complex topics at the intersection of science and society.

I graduated with a PhD in Population Medicine from the University of Guelph in 2018. My doctoral research contributed to a larger climate change adaptation project led by Inuit in Rigolet, Nunatsiavut, Canada. My training and experience in interdisciplinary, community-driven research has shaped my approach to art and design: I am passionate about engaging visual methods and tools to centre community voices and knowledge in both my creative process and end-products.

I work at the intersection of art, design, and community-driven research to tell visual stories that support evidence-based decision-making, and inspire critical, creative thinking. Whether it’s an illustration of food or a visual summary of climate change research, I aim to tell these stories in accessible, intentional, and fun ways.

Puns always intended,
